Physiotherapy is a regulated healthcare profession which helps people regain, maintain and maximize their strength, function, movement, and overall well-being.
Physiotherapists are University trained to diagnose dysfunctions and impairments arising from injury or disease, and design and implement treatment programs to help restore normal mobility, strength and functional ability. At The Physio Approach, we utilize hands-on techniques involving, but not limited to, joint mobilizations/manipulations and Active Release Technique to assess and treat muscle and joint restrictions and restore movement and function. Physiotherapist Alphonsus Chan is trained in Active Release Technique and specializes in Manual Therapy, accredited by the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapy.
